Meet Maggie! This big girl is almost 6 years old and will make your family very happy! Maggie does enjoy all the attention, so she'll need to be in a home with no other animals and no young children. She is a very loyal dog and can be protective of her owners, so a home with low foot traffic is necessary. She is a very smart girl, enjoys long walks, loves playing in the back yard and really likes lazy afternoon naps! Maggie needs a family who will love her as much as she loves them!

Number of Days Up For Adoption:  Maggie has been available for adoption since May 2020 and is currently in foster care.

Her Story: Unfortunately we aren't too sure about Maggie's story, but thankfully she was saved from the kill list at a local shelter. She's now been with her foster family over 2 years and they say she's an amazingly loyal and loving dog!

Her Needs: As mentioned, Maggie can be protective of her owners, so she'll need a patient and loving home, ideally one with low foot traffic. If guests come over, it's best to put Maggie up away from the activities. 
- Does not get along with dogs
- Does not get along with cats
- Needs to be in a home with no young children

Expected Costs: Maggie is up to date on shots, fixed and microchipped. She is also heartworm negative.  Only other anticipated costs are necessary items (food, treats, monthly prevention).
