Morticia & Gomez Addams!

If interested reach out to Purr De Leash Project Rescue at [email protected]

Meet Morticia & Gomez! Morticia and Gomez are still searching for their furrever home, purrfereably together.  They are both short-haired gray and white tabbies around 7 years old. Morticia (female, gray face) is a little more aloof and shy, but when she wants to cuddle she'll be right next to you in bed.  Gomez (male, white/gray face) will be shy the first few days, but then will open up and start to give kisses. Gomez also likes to explore in high places and keep an eye on everything. Ideally, these two would do great in a home together, but can be separated for the right families.

Days Up For Adoption:
Morticia and Gomez have been staying in the boarding/foster situation (with many other rescue cats) since October 2015!

Their Story:
Morticia & Gomez Addams were given their infamous names after being picked up by a Good Samaritan on Halloween night four years ago. Apparently Trick-Or-Treaters thought it was a fun idea to chase after 3 six week old kittens running terrified down the street. Well they were thankfully taken in by Purr De Leash Project animal rescue and have been in foster care since.

Their Needs: Morticia  and Gomez are going to be a little slow to trust at first in a new environment, so they are looking for patient, but always loving parents.
-Gomez likes Morticia, but not many other cat friends, therefore looking for a home with no other cats
-Good with calm dogs
-Morticia would good in a home with older children who will let her gain her trust

Expected Costs:  They are fixed, up to date on shots and FIV FeLV negative. They are also already microchipped. Only costs to expect are normal monthly prevention, food, treats, toys, etc.

Contact:  Gomez & Morticia are available through Purr De Leash Project rescue. If interested in learning more about them, please contact [email protected]

About us

We are an animal advocacy group focusing on "harder-to-adopt" and "long-stay" rescue animals in the DFW area. These animals have been at a shelter, rescue or in foster care longer than the average animal and are often overlooked. We help find them that perfect furrever home!
