Meet Cricket! She's the perfect size at just 45 lbs, Cricket is the cutest and sweetest girl. She loves car rides and going on adventures outside. She's also doing really well in her foster home with a dog pack, she loves being around other dogs! She's very smart, her foster is a trainer so she knows basic commands and is well mannered! She might be a little nervous at first, but she warms up very quickly. She's a great addition to any active family!

Her Story: When Cricket was found, she was skin and bones and had rocks all in her stomach. She's been working with the rescue to gain back weight and is now gaining confidence in her new foster home!

Her Needs: Cricket does get a little nervous in loud and crowded places, so her ideal night would be to stay in and cuddle! Cricket does have Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, so she must have digestive enzymes with meals to enable her body to digest her food.
- Does get along with dogs, ideal home would have another dog to play with
- No cats
- Good with people and kids

Expected Costs: Cricket is up to date on shots, fixed and microchipped. She is also heartworm negative.  Only other anticipated costs are necessary items (food, treats, monthly prevention) and her digestive enzymes for her meals.

About us

We are an animal advocacy group focusing on "harder-to-adopt" and "long-stay" rescue animals in the DFW area. These animals have been at a shelter, rescue or in foster care longer than the average animal and are often overlooked. We help find them that perfect furrever home!
